Emeritus Class Prepares to 'Leave a Legacy'

On behalf of Fairmont State University, we would like to congratulate The Class of 1966 Emeritus Club members on achieving emeritus alumni status, and welcome you to the club!

Members of this class have enlisted the support of the Fairmont State Foundation to create the “Leaving a Legacy” Campaign.  The goal is that the Class of 1966 be the first emeritus class to create an endowed scholarship at Fairmont State University.  The inspiration for this type of group effort comes from the recent success of the Class of 2016 to fund a veterans’ flag plaza on campus.

An endowed scholarship, with a minimum funding level of $25,000, can provide scholarships for deserving students in perpetuity.  Please consider a gift in support of students at Fairmont State while also honoring your class. With over 100 alumni in the Class of 1966, an average gift of $250 will help us reach our goal.

We hope you will stay connected with the 'College on the Hill'. If we can be of any assistance to you, please do not hesitate to reach out.
